AFTN has been offering small business grants to Tanzanians for the last 6 years. Our small business grants are currently helping people in Tanzania who have been suffering from the devastating affects of job loss due to the coronavirus. Many people who were once employed are now unemployed and have no source of income.

Our mission is to empower people to reverse their own poverty through our small business grants.

Our small business grants have helped people start small businesses like taxi services, produce farming, poultry farming, and market pop up shops.

Our goal for 2021 is to help 20 more people start a small business in Tanzania. The average startup cost for a small business is $1000. If you are interested helping AFTN empower more people, please consider donating to this project.
